Formerly a disused laundrette, the premises where re-awakened and re-vamped into a contemporary art space.
The Thread hosted many exhibitions from both local and international artists. Works shown included sculpture, installation, prints, ceramics, paintings and performance work.
The Thread was an experiment in an artists led gallery space, enabling conversations between artists, students, neighbours, business owners and visitors on a busy diverse road in Cambridge.
The Thread closed due to Patricia and myself enrolling on Fine Art Degree courses.
